10th Annual Dad's Garage BaconFest 
1 - 5 p.m. The 10th Annual Dad's Garage BaconFest, a one-day event featuring live music, improv, games, beer, bacon and more, will be held at Dad's Garage Theatre Company in Inman Park. A neighborhood tradition, each year Baconfest raises funds for the treasured mid-sized theatre that is devoted to elevating awareness about the arts in Atlanta. The meat-centric festival has grown to cult-like status, attracting a diverse and devoted legion of Atlantans each year. Building its following off a simple foundation of combining bacon, beer and live bands, the festival also includes nonstop games and a silent auction. Pamoja Penda Music & Arts Festival
2 p.m. to Midnight. Act locally, give globally. Pamoja Penda is a green music and arts festival that will benefit the Ugandan American Partnership Organization’s (UAPO) work with refugee communities in Northern Uganda, and help to raise awareness for grassroots organizations in Africa and in Atlanta. The day will be filled with activities including seven bands, a barefoot soccer tournament organized by Grassroot Soccer, documentary films, a sustainable arts and crafts market and much more. The festival is donating one hundred percent of all proceeds to the organization and its effort to rebuild the war-torn region of Northern Uganda.
