Museum Center at 5ive Points. Visitors can explore the uniqueness of the culture of Appalachia through
items on loan from area residents and other organizations. Bradley County resident Lynelle Thompson, owner of the Primitive Settlement, has
donated several artifacts and items for display. Primitive Settlement is
a well-known living history site off Highway 64 on Kinser Road. Other featured artifacts include corn shuck dolls on loan from local art
educator with the Cleveland City Schools, Susan Parks. Pottery, quilts,
and farming tools are also among the many exhibit highlights, which reflect the lifestyle of the past, and its legacy for the future.
Admission to the “Hearth and Hands” exhibit includes a tour of the “River of Time” core exhibit. Admission is free to museum members, $5
for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and is free for children under five. Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 am till 5 pm and
