Jennifer Trujillo inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 10, 2008) — Furman University held special ceremonies recently for the induction of new members into its chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, this nation's oldest and most prestigious honor society.

   Furman, whose Gamma of South Carolina chapter was chartered in 1973, is among the top 10 percent of colleges in the nation to have earned a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. New members are selected on the basis of highest academic achievement, broad cultural interest, and good character.

   The following Furman University student is among the new Phi Beta Kappa members for the 2007-08 academic year.

From Snellville: Jennifer J. Trujillo, daughter of Mr. Mario Trujillo of 4291 Royal Mustang Way.
