Ted Turner and Hank Aaron to Serve as Featured Speakers at the 2010 Georgia Days Birthday Bash and Awards Gala on February 13
Event to Attract Business Leaders from Across the Peach State

ATLANTA, Ga., (January 21, 2010) - Georgia Historical Society, the Peach State’s first and only statewide historical society, with offices in Savannah and Atlanta will hold “As Time Goes By”: Georgia Days Birthday Bash and Awards Gala. 

CNN founder and Chairman, Turner Enterprises, Inc., Ted Turner and baseball legend Hank Aaron will be featured speakers at this popular annual fundraiser. Governor Sonny Perdue will induct Mr. Turner and Mr. Aaron into the Georgia Historical Society’s Georgia Trustees at this signature event, which will incorporate elements inspired by the landmark film Casablanca. Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, an awards ceremony, dancing and more.

The Gala will be held at the Hyatt Regency Savannah, 2 W. Bay Street, Savannah at 7 p.m. on February 13. The cost is $250 for Georgia Historical Society members. $275 for non-members.
